As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff and visitors as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual observations.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Support access control measures by verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as required by site policies.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities during emergency situations and/or drills.
