As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, and respond to needs with professional customer service. Requirements

  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter; document and report unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing traffic flow as needed, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy violations, and equipment or property damage to the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete detailed reports and shift logs, communicate with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related investigations as requested.
