As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe for unusual activity, and document findings while delivering great customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Control access through gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification and visitor purpose, managing sign-in processes, and directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic including deliveries and pickups.
• Complete security-related reports and logs such as shift activity, incident documentation, and patrol observations, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and site representatives.
