As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe for unusual activity, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while delivering responsive customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the food and beverage production and warehouse location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, loading docks, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor and vendor entry, and assist with truck driver check-in and directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, unauthorized access concerns, suspicious activity, and/or operational disruptions, and promptly notify site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Complete detailed reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate status updates during shift turnovers to support continuity of security-related operations.
