As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a customer-focused experience. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and control entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers, including verifying identification, issuing temporary passes, and directing traffic flow at gates and/or receiving areas.
• Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports, incident reports, and visitor and/or delivery logs, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
