As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs. You will deliver standout customer service, clear communication, and detailed reporting while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, loading and delivery zones, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and contractor entry processes in accordance with site-specific policies.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and notify appropriate personnel for follow-up.
Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident documentation, and other required logs in a timely manner.
Provide direction and assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors, including basic wayfinding and policy reminders when needed.
Support security-related screening and queue management as assigned during peak traffic periods, special events, and/or elevated operational needs.
Coordinate with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and responding public services as needed during incidents and service calls.
Use post orders and approved technology systems, including radios and mobile reporting tools, to communicate status updates and document patrol activity.
