As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with clear communication and a service-first approach. You will respond to calls, document observations, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a caring culture. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 08:00 PM - 04:00 AM

Requirements

• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation efforts and requesting additional resources when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual activity, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in reports and logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
