You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage incidents. You will also assist with access control and respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, delivering clear communication and customer service. Work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and communicate concerns promptly to management and/or dispatch.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol observations, and policy violations, and maintain clear shift handoff communication for continuity of operations.
