You will support access points, respond to alarms and reports, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Control access at gates, doors, and/or checkpoints by verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and maintaining visitor and/or contractor logs when required.
  • Complete routine documentation such as shift activity reports and incident reports, and communicate security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
