As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors with professionalism, communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to concerns with calm teamwork. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting concerns, and requesting additional resources when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas, observe people and activity, and report irregular conditions according to site protocols.
- Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant updates to client personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
