You will support access control, respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Lifting more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, corridors, offices, and common areas, as well as exterior perimeter checks to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow during patrols, assisting with badge checks, visitor sign-in direction, and/or reporting access control concerns to site leadership.
• Complete routine reports, incident logs, and patrol activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site contacts.
