As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or incidents, document observations, and deliver strong customer service and communication while living our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, integrity-driven culture.
Requirements
- EMT Certification is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in locations and routes per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, and medical calls, and coordinate notifications to site contacts and/or local emergency services as needed.
- Complete accurate reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
