You will drive between designated areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 or more years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas where permitted, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor and control access through gates and designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor directions, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Complete detailed reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, patrol observations, and policy exceptions, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel.
