As an unarmed driving Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and deliver customer service with a people-first mindset. Requirements

Have 2+ years of security experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, tank farms, and perimeter routes to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and report findings per post orders.
Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, logging entries and exits, and directing visitors and deliveries to approved locations.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication systems, respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, escalate maintenance and/or operational concerns through the proper channels, and assist with traffic control during peak arrival, departure, and/or delivery periods.
