You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist guests and staff with friendly service, and document observations and reports with clear communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and entertainment location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior common areas and exterior perimeter, including entrances, walkways, and parking areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical calls, and fire or alarm notifications, and request assistance as needed.
• Monitor activity through routine observations and available systems, document security-related activity in written reports, and communicate noteworthy conditions to site leadership and/or public responders.
• Support access control and crowd management by checking doors and gates, guiding guests to appropriate areas, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
