As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will greet staff, visitors, and vendors, complete entry screening and access checks, and support a respectful environment around sensitive areas such as the morgue. You will remain visible, document activity, and communicate concerns to site leadership to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
This post is located in a hospital morgue environment.
Be at least 21+ years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have a guard card/license preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific access control and screening procedures at designated healthcare facility entry points.
Conduct screening activities such as verifying credentials, checking visitor authorization, and observing for prohibited items and/or concerning behavior, then route individuals according to posted instructions and supervisor guidance.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance, documenting observations, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes, to help identify unusual conditions and/or security-related concerns.
Complete required reports and logs, communicate key information during shift transitions, and report maintenance hazards and/or policy violations through the established chain of command.
