As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams and drivers. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, with mobile patrols and timely reporting. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, truck yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points for employees, contractors, and drivers, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required and directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrol findings, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
