As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will make routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong observation and clear reporting. You will greet staff, patients, and visitors with a caring, people-first approach while supporting access control and responding to requests for assistance. You will bring reliability, integrity, and teamwork to every shift in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents, medical facility alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as required by site policy, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas and/or departments.
Complete detailed reports on shift activities, incidents, and observations, and support investigations by preserving and documenting information per site policy.
