As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will make routine rounds, maintain a high-visibility presence, monitor access points, and respond to alarms and incidents, helping to reduce security-related concerns for patients, visitors, and staff. You will document activity, support a welcoming experience, and communicate clearly with clinical teams. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security experience.
At least 6months-1year of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
Must have updated vaccinations for covid vaccine and flu shot is required to work at medical-field.
Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.
Have CPR certification, preferred.
Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating communication with site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and document access control activity per site procedures.
Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate observations and service needs to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
