As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor entrances and key areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control and badging, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. You will stay highly visible, provide clear communication and customer service to staff, patients, and visitors, and document observations. Requirements

  • Hospital: Vaccines required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control and/or Badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Guard Card and/or License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff and local emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor credentials when required, and help maintain orderly flow in lobbies, waiting areas, and restricted departments.
  • Complete required reports such as incident logs, patrol documentation, and shift handoffs, and communicate significant activity to leadership and site contacts.
