As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor entrances and key areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control and badging, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. You will stay highly visible, provide clear communication and customer service to staff, patients, and visitors, and document observations. Requirements

Hospital: Vaccines required.
Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access Control and/or Badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Guard Card and/or License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures within a healthcare location.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff and local emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor credentials when required, and help maintain orderly flow in lobbies, waiting areas, and restricted departments.
Complete required reports such as incident logs, patrol documentation, and shift handoffs, and communicate significant activity to leadership and site contacts.
