As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and using site technology as needed. Requirements

Security experience of 6+ months is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to on-site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor access points and report irregularities, hazards, and/or security-related concerns promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, completing required documentation.
Complete routine reports and incident documentation, including patrol logs and observations, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
