As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, helping to manage access, greet guests, and monitor activity from the lobby. You will support security-related procedures, answer questions with professionalism, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site leadership. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a financial services location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, assisting with evacuation or shelter procedures when directed, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate key information during shift handoff to support consistent post operations.
