As a Front Desk Officer at a financial services location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, and support a professional lobby experience. You will monitor entrances, respond to questions, and communicate clearly with staff and guests while documenting security-related activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and security-related protocols for a financial institution location.
  • Greet and screen visitors, validate identification, manage the visitor sign-in process, and issue and collect visitor credentials and/or temporary badges per site policy.
  • Answer phones, route calls, and coordinate with building management and/or client contacts to support front desk operations, deliveries, and scheduled appointments.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control indicators as assigned, and report irregular activity or policy concerns through the required channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating emergency response activities when appropriate and completing required reports.
