As a Front Desk Officer at a financial services location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting staff and guests while helping manage access control and badge checks. You will monitor entry activity, answer questions, document security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Requirements

  • Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • The client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badges, and directing guests to the appropriate areas per site procedures.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm panels, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete security-related documentation such as logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant updates to the next shift.
