As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access and credentials, answer phones, and coordinate with teams to support smooth daily operations. You will monitor lobby activity and cameras, document incidents, and provide clear, professional communication that helps reduce security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
  • Manage access control by verifying identification, processing visitor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or access control panels, and report unusual activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, visitor logs, and shift activity logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
