As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, document observations, and respond to situations with calm, customer-focused service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control concerns, and medical and/or fire-related events.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Control access to the location by monitoring gates and/or entrances, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing contractors and deliveries to the proper check-in process.
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
