As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and/or visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical situations, fire alarms, equipment-related concerns, and/or access control issues.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points and verify identification, badges, and/or visitor credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting orderly traffic flow for deliveries and shipments.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations, and communicate notable activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership using approved reporting tools.
