As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests with professional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

• Hospital site requires vaccines.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and/or support for clinical and facilities teams as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare buildings, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assisting with visitor direction, wayfinding, and/or policy reminders while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete required reports and documentation for security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
