As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to service calls, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site staff while providing a welcoming, customer-focused presence. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, lobbies, loading docks, parking areas, stairwells, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, access issues, medical events, and/or fire and alarm activations, and escalate to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity for unusual conditions, assist with visitor direction, and/or coordinate with property management on access control and tenant requests per site policy.
• Complete detailed patrol and incident documentation, communicate key updates during shift transitions, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to Allied Universal and site leadership.
