Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. You will document observations, report irregular activity, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for assistance, observing and reporting conditions, and requesting support from emergency services when needed.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials when required by post orders, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate destinations based on site procedures.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate important updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
