Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. You will document observations, report irregular activity, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for assistance, observing and reporting conditions, and requesting support from emergency services when needed.
Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials when required by post orders, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate destinations based on site procedures.
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate important updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
