As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist tenants and visitors, document activity, and report concerns clearly. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
Monitor access points and common areas, verify authorization for entry as required, and help to manage visitor and contractor flow according to post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and/or fire or alarm activations, and coordinate notifications per site protocols.
Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
