As a Screener in a government location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to screening and access control.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries and directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence at screening areas to help to deter potential security-related threats.
Participate in emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
