As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter unwanted activity, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual circumstances.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.
Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management regarding security-related duties.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
Assist with crowd management and/or traffic control as needed during busy periods or special events.
