Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed security-related logs and reports as required by site procedures.
