As an Access Control Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, log visitors and deliveries, and communicate clearly with site teams to support smooth operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, and document security-related activity to help reduce incidents. Requirements
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby checkpoints by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining access logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts as directed.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other access control systems, and document unusual activity according to post orders and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
