As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting patients, visitors, and staff while supporting a professional, welcoming environment. You will manage access requests, monitor alarms and cameras, document activity, and communicate concerns to the appropriate teams. Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of security experience is required.
• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk in a primarily stationary post, assisting with visitor check-in, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and directing individuals to appropriate departments in a courteous manner.
• Monitor access control points and front desk surveillance systems as assigned, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying clinical staff, facility management, and/or emergency services per site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate shift updates to incoming personnel, and support security-related administrative tasks such as key control and package screening as required by site policy.
