As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will greet visitors, manage access and badging, monitor cameras and alarms, answer phones, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing guests, managing visitor check-in and check-out, issuing and tracking badges and/or access credentials, and notifying the appropriate contacts of arrivals.
  • Control access through the lobby by verifying identification, following sign-in protocols, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or tailgating in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other building systems from the front desk area, report suspicious activity, and communicate issues to site leadership and/or responding personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document activities in daily logs and incident reports, and support follow-up as directed.
