Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will be a welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will monitor the lobby and entry points, manage access control and badge checks, respond to guest and staff questions, and communicate concerns to the team. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
  • Operate the front desk post by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or access authorization, and issuing visitor credentials per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Monitor lobby activity, entry points, and camera systems to help to deter unwanted activity, and report suspicious behavior per site policy.
  • Complete required logs and reports, document incidents accurately, and communicate key information during shift handoff to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
