As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, providing a welcoming presence and assisting visitors and staff. You will help to deter security-related incidents by managing access control, monitoring alarm panels, and utilizing computer or tablet systems. Your role is key in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while stationed at the front desk.
Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying identification and managing visitor logs as required by site-specific protocols.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or vendors, providing information and assistance as needed.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
