Your role involves greeting guests, managing access control, and assisting with security-related inquiries, all while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, employees, and contractors in a professional manner at the front desk and verify their credentials according to site-specific policies.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with visitor registration processes as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity and security-related incidents at the front desk.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and site-specific needs.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including alerting the proper authorities and supporting evacuation procedures if necessary.
