As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, support access control and badge processes, and use a computer and/or tablet to log activity and communicate updates. You will help maintain an inviting, security-related presence while assisting tenants and guests with professionalism. Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing guests, managing building access using badges and/or visitor logs, and monitoring the lobby area for unusual activity that may help to deter issues.
  • Answer phones, route calls, and assist with general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence at the reception area.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to property management and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, access events, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate pertinent information to oncoming personnel.
