As a Front Desk professional in a dynamic tech environment, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with access control and security-related procedures. Working with Allied Universal, you will help to deter incidents through attentive monitoring and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or guests at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information related to the location.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access or activities through attentive presence and adherence to security-related procedures.
