Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by executing security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the premises by greeting, identifying, and registering visitors and employees, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logbooks and incident reports to document activities and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal and/or client management.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries, provide directions, and offer support as needed.
  • Operate security-related equipment such as access control systems, visitor management tools, and communication devices as required for the front desk post.
