As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the premises. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and caring. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed.
Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.
