Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as a Screener, helping support smooth operations through professional access screening and visitor processing. You will check IDs, issue and/or verify badges, monitor cameras and entry points, and complete routine patrols while documenting observations and communicating clearly with site teams. Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, screening requirements, and/or emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings as required by site policy, verify identification and credentials, and direct traffic flow for check-in and check-out at a logistics and distribution location.
• Complete visitor, contractor, and delivery documentation, issue and collect badges or passes, and maintain accurate logs for security-related recordkeeping.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, staging areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
