As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location, you will help support security-related operations by conducting entry screening, verifying credentials, managing visitor flow, and communicating clearly with employees and guests. You will stay visible, document observations, and escalate concerns through established procedures while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures, access requirements, and post orders.
• Conduct entry screening at designated checkpoints, including processing visitor check-in, verifying identification and/or credentials, and screening personal items using approved methods and equipment.
• Monitor walk-through and handheld screening devices and alarms, communicate screening outcomes, and document exceptions or prohibited items per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete required reporting and maintain accurate logs of screening activity, incident details, and shift handoff information to support consistent security-related operations.
