Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, and support visitors and employees with professional customer service. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, backed by a caring, integrity-led team culture. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $20.57 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge requirements, and/or visitor management processes.
• Screen and verify identification, credentials, and/or delivery documentation prior to granting entry to controlled areas at an industrial chemical or petrochemical location.
• Monitor access control points, alarms, and/or video systems as assigned, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns through established chain of command.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities per post orders and site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned to help to deter unauthorized access.
