As a Screener at a financial institution, you will greet employees and visitors, help manage access points, and support security-related screening and alarm response while providing top-tier customer service. You will also complete routine patrols and clear communication with site contacts, using your valid driver’s license as needed for site duties. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Screen individuals and packages at designated entry points, verifying identification and/or access authorization, and directing visitors according to site procedures.
  • Monitor access control points, alarms, and/or surveillance systems, reporting unusual activity and documenting security-related incidents per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support from Allied Universal leadership and/or local responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting hazards and maintenance concerns, and completing required patrol logs and reports.
