As a Security Officer - Flex Entry Control in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential condominium location, you will help manage entry points, greet residents and guests, verify credentials, and support visitor check-in using access control systems. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related issues, and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and responders. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials when applicable, and document access activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, amenities and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or policy issues.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, unusual events and security-related incidents, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
