Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced healthcare location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine rounds across hospital areas, maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents, support staff and visitors with strong communication and customer service, and document observations and concerns. Requirements

  • Work in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.
  • Work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification of site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual conditions, and assist with directing foot traffic and/or vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and observations accurately, and communicate security-related information during shift handoff to support continuity of operations.
